Ask Women – on Migrants
Change the narrative with the women experts from the European databases of the ENWE network.
Dear reader,
Greetings!
And welcome to our December issue of Ask Women. This is a monthly newsletter by the European Network for Women Excellence (ENWE) in collaboration with the women experts’ databases in our network, which include 100esperte, AcademiaNet, Agenda d’Expertes, Expertalia, and Les Expertes.
This Edition’s Theme:
International Migrants Day
This December issue is connected to International Migrants Day, on December 18.
About the theme
Recent years have seen a significant rise in global migration, driven by conflict, insecurity, and climate change. Migrants and displaced people, often facing exploitation and limited access to services, contribute significantly to their host and origin countries through economic and social means. International Migrants Day, observed annually on December 18, celebrates migrants' contributions while acknowledging their challenges.
