Global Media and Information Literacy Week (24-31 October 2024) unites stakeholders worldwide to share ideas and explore innovative ways to promote Media and Information Literacy (MIL) for all. This global initiative is crucial for equipping individuals with the skills necessary to navigate and critically engage with the vast array of information in today's digital age.
The theme for Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2024, “The New Digital Frontiers of Information: Media and Information Literacy for Public Interest Information,” focuses on the transformative impact of emerging technologies like Generative Artificial Intelligence and the rise of new digital content creators.
